As of Jan. 1, CVS Caremark replaced OptumRx as the pharmacy benefits manager for certain CalPERS Basic and Medicare HMO and PPO plans.
On Tuesday, CalPERS Health Plan Research and Administration Division Chief Rob Jarzombek, joined by CVS Caremark Account Executive David Lauck, presented an overview of this important change before an audience of California State Retirees members. The presentation occurred at the CSR Leadership Meeting at the Hilton Arden West in Sacramento.
