PBI Security Breach Update Published Jul. 24, 2023 Below is an update on the PBI security breach at CalPERS: Experian has enrolled approximately 133,600 CalPERS members in credit monitoring. This represents approximately 17% of all members impacted. Experian has received more than 37,000 calls. The average wait time continues to be about two minutes. CalPERS’ Contact Center has received more than 4,400 calls and we have responded to more than 2,650 emails to the dedicated incident email box at PBIquestions@calpers.ca.gov.
