CalPERS officials to speak in Palm Desert May 6

     All working and retired members of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) and their guests are invited to a question-and-answer session with three CalPERS officials in Palm Desert Friday, May 6.

     Retirement challenges facing public employees and retirees will be discussed by CalPERS Board Member Henry Jones; Donna Snodgrass, a candidate for the CalPERS Board of Administration; and Clarence Allen, manager of the CalPERS San Bernardino office.

     The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. May 6 in the Cravens Multi-purpose Room at the College of the Desert.
