The committee is responsible for reviewing and recommending action on the Bylaws and Governing Rules of CSR while ensuring the integrity of CSR is protected. The committee shall independently review all actions and recommendations of the Delegate Assembly, General Council, Association Board of Directors, and the Corporation Board of Directors for conformance with the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws and the Governing Rules of CSR.
Upon referral by the Board of Directors or at the request of the President, the committee shall interpret ambiguous portions of CSR's Bylaws or the Governing Rules and make appropriate recommendations. Finally, the committee shall write language for needed changes and shall recommend amendments based upon the independent review.
