Anthem is actively negotiating their contract with Enloe Medical Center, located in the city of Chico and Butte County. They have agreed to extend the potential termination date to January 31, 2019. In the event Enloe Medical Center does terminate their contract, Anthem will redirect members to an alternate participating hospital: Oroville Hospital at 2767 Olive Highway, Oroville, CA 95966.
The potential member impact is 5,422 PPO CalPERS members and 40 HMO CalPERS members.
