Committee members are responsible for providing advice and guidance to chapters on recruitment and member retention. The committee chair will implement the membership program as outlined by the Board of Directors and will coordinate that plan with each chapter president.
Committee members shall also assist chapter presidents and chapter membership coordinators with member and retention campaigns; oversee and assist in the training provided to chapter membership coordinators; provide CalPERS, state agencies and associated organizations with various materials and information that would lead to member recruitment; and encourage participation in any meeting of potential retirees for the purpose of membership recruitment.
