Tim Behrens was elected in 2010 to represent District F on the California State Retirees Board of Directors and he was re-elected to the board in November of 2012. He is currently the Statewide President, having been elected to the office in February of 2013 and re-elected in 2018.
For more than 42 years, Behrens worked as an employee and supervisor at the Porterville Developmental Center. He has held several positions within CSEA, including president of the Association of California State Supervisors (ACSS) for 14 years and a rank-and-file representative for more than 18 years in Bargaining Unit 18.
He also served on several CSEA committees and sat on the statewide CSEA Board of Directors for a total of 18 years.
